Ticket upgrade question

Currently on hold with Disney ticketing to ask but with an over 90 minute wait figure I would try here as well. Does anyone know if you can upgrade a 4 day 1 park per day ticket to a 3 day park hopper? If so what happens to the current reservations since they are already made for our August trip and we cannot upgrade until we are there?

In theory yes, but only if there are park hopper reservations available for those days at the time you attempt to upgrade.

Keep us posted, please! I know that when I added 1 night and 2 park days to my reservation I kept the same reservation # but I had to re-do my park reservations b/c it was a "new ticket" according to the CM.

Did you get an answer? I have the same question about upgrading a 4 day to 5 day. Park reservations are available for the day I need.

I just spoke to two CMs (phone and chat) and they both said no ticket upgrades being done at all once you have scanned into a park. They are doing special exception refunds for unused tickets to allow you to go ahead and get the ticket you want (add a day, or park hopper, etc)

Sorry late to come back. They did offer a refund exception so I could buy the 3 day park hopper but also did advise no upgrades are being done at the ticketing windows except like child ticket to adult ticket.
