Ticket Upgrade Question

Going to Universal this week for the first time. Planning on buying a FL resident 2 day, 2 park ticket. I'm ASSUMING once I get in there, if I decide I love it, I can upgrade to an AP or Power Pass? Can anyone confirm that I can do that once I'm already inside the gate?

If I can't, I'm going to have to spring for the Power Pass or AP from the get go because it would be dumb to pay twice.

yes.

you need to upgrade before the park closes if you have a single day ticket on the day you use it.
multi day ticket, upgrade before the end of the last day you use the tickets.

you can upgrade at either guest service, outside or in the park.
