My family and I are arriving on August 28th, but not planning to enter the parks until August 29th. We have a 5-day PH. I want to upgrade my 5-day PH to a Premiere Annual Pass as we are visiting DLR and WDW 2x in the next year. :goodvibes Here's my question. In order to bridge the pricing and apply the cost of the 5-d PH to the Annual Pass, must I enter the park first and then buy the Annual Pass? I know this is the procedure at WDW, but does it work the same way at DLR? :confused3 Many thanks!

You can upgrade at any time before the end of day 5. Make sure you use your EE before you upgrade because you will loose that once you upgrade.

You will get the price you paid toward whatever the current price of the pass you want to upgrade to. Unlike WDW, if their is a price increase between the time you bought and the time you upgrade you will NOT get the new price.

Thank you~! That is very helpful information. Okay...now just 39 days and counting!!

To expand a little on what disneychrista said, DLR does not consistently price bridge their tickets. So it's best to assume that you'll only get the amount you paid for the ticket applied to the upgrade. So if you buy the tickets at a discount (e.g., through something like way.com, aRes, or one of the other authorized re-sellers), you may get gate price or you may only get the amount you paid - it's hard to say in advance.
