Im looking to upgrade a ticket purchased from a third party ticket broker to an AP. I read through the Everything About WDW Tickets thread, and Im pretty sure I get the process. However, I was hoping someone could confirm what Im doing is accurate.
I have a 7 day park hopper with no expiration Paid $395, Disney.com price $471.80 (443 +tax). I want to upgrade this ticket to an AP when I go in December Disney.com price $531.44 (499 + tax).
So when I go in December, I enter a park to activate the ticket then go to guest services to upgrade the ticket. The value I will get credited for will be $471.80, thus leaving me with a difference of $59.64 to upgrade to an AP.
Is this correct? Thanks!
