Ticket & Transportation Center question

My understanding is that you can't go from a park to a park. So how does the Ticket & Transportation Center play into the picture? Can you go to any park from the TTC but not to any hotels? And how about Downtown Disney? I know you can go from a hotel to DD - can you go to Downtown Disney from a park (example AK)?

Curious minds need to know!

The Transportation & Ticket Center is basically a gateway to the Magic Kingdom. This is where the Magic Kingdom car and bus parking lot is. All day guests must go through this point. Also, all Magic Kingdom park-to-park buses service out of this location. Disney Resort Buses are the only buses that service the Magic Kingdom directly. MK is the only one that does this.

So, for example, if you want to get from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom, you'll need to go to the TTC via Monorail or Ferry, and then catch the DAK bus. Vice versa, from DAK, you catch the TTC bus, then take the monorail or ferry.


When going from DAK to the Disney-MGM Studios, there will be a direct bus. TTC is for MK connection only.


Downtown Disney buses only run to/from the Disney Resorts. No theme parks, and not the TTC.

Something else to add, WL and FW are the only resorts serviced from the TTC.

I thought there was a downtown disney/wide world of sports bus stop at MGM studios? Have they changed this? Is there really a TTC bus stop at the Animal Kingdom?

There is a bus to WWOS from MGM. No bus from MGM to DTD.

Yes, there is a bus that goes to the TTC from AK. If you want to get to the MK from AK, the bus drops you off at the TTC.
