Ticket transfer to AP question

I received a 10 day park hopper plus pack ticket last year as a gift, and I want to exchange it for an annual pass for my upcoming trip (8 days!!!!). I booked a room at the Poly with the AP rate, knowing I planned to do this. Now!! Once we arrive at the Poly, I will have to exchange my ticket BEFORE we check in, so I am wondering if I can do this at the TTC. It's so close... I could just walk. I've asked CM's, but got 3 different answers. I trust you guys WAY more!!! Anyone know whether I can exchange at the TTC, or if I have to go to MK? Thx!!!

You can trade it for a ticket of an equal or greater value as long as the ticket is COMPLETELY unused.

This may be more of a Guest Relations issue though. I'm not sure if the TTC would handle this or not. There are two Guest Relations locations at Downtown Disney - one by Wetzel's Pretzel's & Planet Hollywood - the other over by Team Mickey in the marketplace.

You should be able to do it at the TTC - but if not, you can always hop on the Monorail and definitely can do it at the MK. You may need to pay a difference b/t your park hopper & the new AP though.

I have heard that sometimes you can check in without the AP, so long as you bring it by the next day or they will charge you full rack rate. (As in people checking in with only an AP voucher) It would probably depend on the CM - which is probably why you have gotten 3 different answers when you call! If it were me, I would just try to check in first; then, they can send you to the right place for certain!

But, I do not think that it is a big problem or something to stress over - people exchange tickets every day and CMs know that!
