Ticket saving plan?

We had an idea about saving money on tickets that I think is within WDW rules: Our friends are going to WDW this summer with their two children for just 2/3 days. We are going in October for 3 days with our two children. Couldn't they buy 6 day park hopper passes and whatever they don't use we just use? Thanks for any help.

Disney clearly states that these passes are non-transferrable.

We have some old passes that we have yet to use, and each one has a photo of the passholder on it. I don't know if the PH passes still have photos, but I wouldn't want to risk it, even if they didn't. I have a pretty strong conscience, plus I would be so embarrassed if I got caught!

People sell their unused PH+ tickets all the time on ebay. Yes, it's easily doable.

It's up to you to decide if you want to or not.

I wish they were, but this is the "official" line from the Disney website:

"Q. Are tickets transferable? Can I give them to someone else to use the remaining days?

A. Please note that all multi-day Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets are nontransferable and must be used by the same person on any and all days. The person that uses the ticket for the very first time must use the ticket for its entirety. Any tickets that are transferred are in violation of this restriction are invalid for admission."

PH's There is no photo on them. I always carry all of our passes and couldn't tell you which pass is for which person so I guess that we have been transferring them all along. I figure that I paid for them all so does it really matter. APs have our name on them, but not our pictures. These are definately nontransferrable as we have to do a finger scan as we enter, although it never works and they let us through anyway.
