Hey, so I just heard that if you lose your ticket, and forgot to take a picture of it Disney will reissue you your tickets if you have a fastpass. Has anyone tried this?

You still have an FP? That definitely helps your case. It would obviously have to be a FP from the same exact day, and there are no guarantees that they will be able to help you, but they MIGHT be able to. Obviously this type of exchange could easily be taken advantage, as someone could just get a hold of a FP and get a free park ticket, which is why I say they may replace it, but they are not obligated to do so.
My purse was stolen out of my car last night with my families AP passes in it. Fortunately, the purse was found and returned (minus cash), but so happy to see our AP passes! Would I have been able to replace these?

They will reissue your AP with proper identification. I believe the first replacement is free but subsequent in the same year there is a fee. At least that is what we were told.
Last trip, my sister's BF lost his lanyard with his ticket in it. He had bought his ticket on Disneyland.com and had a copy of the receipt/voucher. He took it to the ticket booth and they replaced the ticket, no problem. My thought is that buying an eTicket is the best insurance against a lost ticket.

They can replace a lost ticket if you have a fast pass or took a photo of it with your phone. But...you better be convincing that its your ticket, if they suspect its not yours, they will not replace it. Since a ticket is a relatively expensive purchase, I suggest to everyone, Keep your receipts!!!
I'm sure if you are doing it by fast pass they will ask lots of questions. The tickets have alot of data about who bought the ticket when when how. I used to work ticket booths. There are ton of questions they can ask to make sure u are the one that purchased it. For the most part if you answer everything correct they will replace it.
Be prepared with answers for not only who bought the ticket, what credit card, but also what park did you enter which day, about what time did you enter on a certain day....
