I just spent an hour working out what was the best ticket deal. I think Disney specifically came up with this new system to confuse. Basically, I figured that we could get only the tickets we need for $765.00 or Pay $115.00 more and get 3 additional days per person plus 3 additional options (flex) days per person for the next trip. I will definately be banking the extra days.

Whay does it have to be so confusing... Geesh

I agree. I decided that instead of messing with the tickets on two trips, I decided that I would just get an AP and be done with it.

I am considered the same thing. I am hoping that we will be adding to our family, so I thought it best to wait on that.

Nothing wrong with that at all. I feel that my vacation planning time can be used for other things than sitting for and hour or so, trying to figure out the tickets.

We got the 10-day park-hopper with 5 plusses that never expire.
They come out to be the best deal in the long run but the are alot of money up front. Gives us a good excuse to go back

I's sorry the new tickets have been causing you headaches.

We are loving them. I just purchased 4 ten day MYW tickets with park hopping option for our May-June trip. Last year even with our DVC 10% discount our tickets were 450.00 MORE than this year. So for us they are awesome.

It's not the the tickets themselves are a headache. It's the calculating the best deal that is a real pain. I'll survie though.

I know how you feel. I went through this last year with our trip...where should we stay? Should we rent points or get a regular hotel room? Should I buy just enough ticket days for this trip or overbuy in anticipation of our next? Which dealer offers best price? What about vouchers? Makes your head spin!

I don't know where I came across it, but someone has an excel macro that helps compute the MYW tickets making it easier for you to see the bottom line. Maybe someone can post that link??
