Please help me with a couple of questions...

I am considering booking a Weds.- Sunday trip in December. It would be either the first or second week. Which is least busy?

Second question...

If we check in on Wednesday when do our tickets start if I book a package?

When would they end? Would they include Sunday or no?

I am just trying to figure out the least expensive way to go.

I can book a package at POP for 1294 or CB for 1374. (2 adults, 2 kids)

Would I be better off booking the hotel and tickets seperate? I did get a postcard.

Thanks!! I am driving myself crazy figuring it all out.

I'd look into booking seperately. I guess it depends on if you plan to just do the parks or if you plan water parks too. I generally come out better booking hotel, then purchasing hopper passes seperately. Those days never expire whereas the ones in th epacage are just for length of stay. Another thing is will you arrive early enough to actually go to the park on arrival day? We had booked CR once and they were going to do it as a package. The only thing that saved us from losing that first day was that we arrived after the park had closd for the evening. We had an understanding CM at the desk that book it as room only for that night and gave us the tickets for the actual whole days that we were there. Since then we've bought hoppers, though since we've gone three times this year I should've bought AP's! HTH

When you book a Dreammaker package it includes Ultimate Park Hopper tickets from the day you arrive (Weds) to the day you leave (Sun). Whether you'll be able to go to those parks on those days will determine if it's worth the money for you. I personally always book a package because I make it a point to arrive early enough and leave late enough to be able to go to the parks on travel days. But if that doesn't work for you, you'd be better off getting a room only ressie and then buying hopper tickets. Keep in mind that hopper tickets never expire... if you don't use them this trip you can save them for a future trip. But Ultimate Park Hopper tickets are only good for the length of your stay. Your postcard rate is probably for a room only ressie, so I'd suggest for you to book that rate, and then purchase tickets for however many days you'll be in the parks.

Thanks for the replies!!! :) Now to talk dh into skipping his hunting trip for Disney. :earseek:

Your postcard - is it for a package, or room only? If it's room only, book the components seperately. You'll come out much better in the end!
