I am taking 3 friends to Disney- I bought all of the tickets and have possession- one friend would like to use an old magic band- how do we get the ticket attached to that magic band? Do I just give her the code number on the back of the ticket?

Also we are going to a Christmas party so have separate tickets for that- will they be on our magic bands or do we need to bring the hard ticket?

You don't attach tickets to bands, you/they link tickets on their MDX account, and you/they link their magic band to an MDX account. If they have a magic band already I'd assume they have their own MDX account? If so, they just need their tickets linked on their account.

Yes, you can link the party tickets to MDX accounts as well. It's recommended that you bring the hard ticket along just in case.
