What is the "usual" cost range for a HHN ticket? I know the rate for this year won't be posted for quite awhile, but I'm trying to ballpark some ticket options right now.

Also is there a different percentage discount on merchandise and food purchases between the preferred and premiere APs? It seems like I read that somewhere but I can't find it on the US site now.

If I remember correctly, last year's HHN tickets for general admission were around $90 but the AP discounts are fantastic. Depending on the night, they were as cheaper as $30 or so. You would definitely want to get an AP if you plan to attend HHN this year. Preferred passholders get 10% off food/merchandise and Premier passholders get 15%.

The Premier pass includes a HHN ticket. Could I also use the pass to purchase another HHN ticket for my son? Or can you only purchase discounted HHN tickets for the pass holder?

Passholders can purchase up to six additional tickets per pass at the discount. So your son would be good to go.
