Ticket questions? a little long

Sorry this may have been answered before on other post. Some I have found but none had to do with the no expiry tickets on the post I found. Plus after 1 am here and to tired to look for anymore post.

In Oct 06 we went to WDW bought my son a 6 day park hopper non expiry ticket which has one day left on it. We are planning on going back down in Dec for 2 days so I need a 1 day park hopper ticket. I know that you can add days to the ticket but my question is am I to late to add on a day to the pass if not what would I pay to add on that day? Would it be the difference between a six day ph ne to a 7 day ph ne or would it be the full price of a one day park hopper? Trying to do this as cheap as possible and any recomendations?

Upgrades on MYW tickets can only be done prior to or within 14 days of first use. It does not matter whether you have no expiration on it or not. All the no expiration option does is prevents what you already have from expiring. It does not extend the window available for upgrading.
