Ticket question

Good morning!

On our last trip to WDW we purchased a package (kids stay and play free! ), and our UPH passes were part of our hotel key card.

This time I was thinking about using Ticketmania to purchase our passes. I've read about the biometric scanning -- will they do that with our paper tickets? Is there a way to tie our tickets into our resort card?

If you buy your tickets from Ticketmania (actually - no matter where you buy your tickets), after you check in, just make a stop at Guest Services/Concierge desk, and they can code your admission to your room key.

Whether or not you do that - everyone in your party aged 10 and older will be required to do the biometric scans.

Thank you! That was so quick! I was worried about ripping/losing/wetting those paper tickets. Us DISers know everything......(head spinning around like Woody)....

Are the biometric scans where you put your 2 fingers on a scanner?? Is this only for AP tickets or do all tickets do it now??

It used to be only for AP tickets but now it's for all types of tickets. They are really trying to cut down on people trying to cheat the system by sharing tickets and also theft of tickets.

You're correct.

9 and younger need not use the biometrics scanner.
