Hi, we purchased tickets from undercover tourist. I have them printed out and in our bag. Once we check into royal pacific can we trade them in for plastic tickets?

I know you can with other tickets but since they were bought from someone else I wasn't sure.

Also if we are able to trade them in do I need the credit card used for the tickets or just my I'd?

Where do we get express passes from? Is there a separate counter for check in, Express pass, and exchanging the tickets?

I swear I read the information but sometimes it feels like I am reading them in a foreign language :hyper2::crazy2::scared:

When you check in at the hotel, each person will get a "plastic card" - this is your room key, express pass and what you would use for early entry, priority restaurant seating and if you want to charge anything to your room.

Your park tickets are only needed when you go through the turnstiles - either at the front of the park or at the Hogwarts Express. We have had no issue folding the paper tickets down so that the barcode is showing through on one side of our lanyard and then the EP/room key facing out the other side. However, as damo said you can exchange it for a smaller "cardstock" ticket if you really want to. This can be done at the "Universal Vacation Planning" desk (which is further back past the main check-in desk at RPR) or at guest services at the front of either park.

Thank you! Guessing I was reading some old information for the Express pass.

One other question if anyone is reading...if we are not charging to the room, is a hold still put on our credit card?

I think most hotels put a hold on your credit card, in case of "incidentals", but I am not specifically sure about the Universal hotels.

They will ask you at check-in if you want to be able to charge. The hotel's policy is $200 per night but when we visited in May, we asked if this could be adjusted and were able to just add $50 per night. It is convenient when you go down to the pool, if you would like a drink or a bite to eat, to not have to bring money, credit card, etc. If you don't use it all (we didn't), the remaining amount is applied to your balance when you check out.

Are they still taking photos to put on the Express Pass? Last trip (which was a while ago) they were, and they were having issues with that system when we checked in and wasted a bunch of my relaxing time. Hoping that’s gone.

Last September/December was my last onsite stay at the deluxe

No photos for the hotel ep
Now all you do is show your hotel room key card

Do the tickets from Undercover need to be printed or can an e-ticket be scanned on a phone?
