Ticket Question

I realize this is probably a dumb question, but we haven't used regular park tickets in many years. Been using annual passes for the past 10 years. Anyway, for our next trip, we'll be purchasing 7-day, non-park hopper passes. Here's the dumb question: Using these passes, can we leave the park, Magic Kingdom for example, and return later in the day to the same park?
