Ticket Question

We are planning a trip for this year.

We have 5day p/h non expiring tickets unused from undercover tourister.
Is it possible to ùp grade these tickets to 10 day tickets?


Also is everything wrist band now?
We will only come baring tyvek.
Would we have a choice of colors at the Swan/Dolphin?

I'm not sure if you would be able to upgrade non-expiring tickets since Disney doesn't sell them anymore.

Everything is not Magic Band now - people staying on site get them for free and people staying offsite can buy them, but they're not necessary. Since you have Tyvek tickets though, you'll have to exchange them for RFID-enabled plastic tickets - I think this can be done at Guest Services outside any of the parks.

I'm pretty sure guests at the Swan and Dolphin are considered offsite with regards to getting Magic Bands, meaning you would have to buy them if you want them.

If you're staying at Swan and Dolphin you won't get magic bands. You'll use the old cards unless you buy magic bands and add them to your MDE.

Recent reports indicate that you will not be able to add days to a no-expiration ticket, even if it hasn't been used yet.

Swan/Dolphin are considered onsite resorts but because they are not Disney properties, you will not receive MagicBands.

Your tyvek p/h tickets will need to be exchanged for the hard plastic tickets before you enter the park. Because there are no longer non-expiry tickets being sold, you'd have to upgrade to a regular 10-day ticket and pay whatever the difference is to upgrade after you have entered a park at least once.

If you want to purchase MagicBands before you reach WDW, you can order them from Disney Store. Link the MBs to your MDE account, link the tickets, and you can enter parks by using your MB. If you decide not to buy MBs, use the hard plastic tickets for park entrance and FP lines.

We really need this trip. Two very sick girls trying to see if traveling days are over. Going slowly, taking less, and trying out the quieter or the Dolphin Swan combo.
