Can I make FP+ ressies before I go if I plan to buy tickets when we arrive at WDW?

My understanding is you cannot. You will have to make day of FP+ reservations. Are you staying on site? If you are perhaps you can order tickets now and then you will be able to reserve FP+ in advance.

Order the tickets "Will Call" and use the confirmation number
in MyDisneyExperience for a ticket input number.

Then, make FP+ choices as early as 60 days in advance.
