Ticket question

I can get tickets to DW from work. They are a 5 day ticket for the price of a 3 day. I am there 6 days. Can I tAke the five day ticket to customer service and get it upgraded to a 6 day... For a additional fee obviously.

A lot depends on the ticket and how much it was sold for. Certain very deeply discounted tickets cannot be upgraded.

A lot of back and forth is needed to find out for sure in advance whether the ticket can be upgraded. It is possible that your employer will let you return the ticket provided you have not used it (and bought another ticket after you got there and found that the first ticket could not be upgraded).

Meanwhile you should not try to go from 5 days to 6 days until after you used it a little bit. Otherwise the savings you got via your employer will be clawed back by Disney. (You'd be trading in for a ticket costing you $40. more as opposed to adding a day for $11.)

Now you could do it the easy way and take a chance you will have to spend day number six without going to the parks. If your proposed day one was just a half day due to travel, you could find out outside the park whether the ticket was upgradable without committing to doing it, and if the answer is no, make that arrival day the no-parks day.
