Hi,
My husband and I did the give a day so we each have a ticket. We also have a package with 4 day tickets so if we used the gad and three of the other ones, is it true that the 4th ticket would not expire?

Thanks for the help!

Like the PP said, your package tickets will expire in fourteen days from the first use unless you purchase the no-expiration option. That usually is not a good deal for one day remaining. Adding no-expiration to a 4-day ticket costs about $71 per ticket - it doesn't matter how many days are left.

Some better options may be:

Redeem your vouchers for Fastpass exchange cards for your group. You can read about that option here.

Redeem your vouchers for the Mickey Ears figurine and pin set instead of using them for admission.

Save your package tickets for another trip (they don't expire unless you use them). Upgrade your GAD vouchers to 4-day tickets - cost is about $170 per ticket, but you will have unused 4-day tickets for your next trip (current value $247 per adult for a 4-day base ticket).

Downgrade your package tickets to 3-day tickets and use the GAD voucher for the fourth day. A four day ticket is only $10 more than a 3-day ticket, so I wouldn't advise this unless your budget is really tight. If you are within 45 days of check-in, Disney may charge a $50 change fee, so this would actually cost you money.

The GAD ticket has to be used on the date redeemed, so it can't be redeemed then saved for another trip.

If you are planning five park days, you can upgrade your four day tickets to five day tickets for about $5 per ticket - I wouldn't use a 4-day ticket and them use the GAD for the fifth day.

Only if the 4 day ticket was purchased with the no expiration option.
Not correct.

An unused MYW ticket does not expire and is valid until such time as it is used. At that time all entitlements will expire at 14 days from date of first use unless the No Expire option is purchased.

You are somewhat confused. It appears from your post that the two of you are traveling and each have ordered four day tickets. What you have ordered is two tickets with four days worth of entries on each and not four one day tickets each.

I read it to mean that they have 4-day tickets with their package and also each have a GAD voucher, and she was asking if she could use the GAD voucher and 3 days from the package tickets and save the last day. Might have misinterpreted, though. :)

That's how I read it, too.

If you look very closely at the OP (quoted here) they have a GAD ticket. She asks if they use the GAD ticket and three of the other ones (implied tickets, not days) if the 4th ticket (again not day) would not expire.

Yes, but it says in the OP that a package with a 4 day and I think the OP wanted to know if they didn't use one of the days, it would still be able to be used in the future. That's how I took it. I guess the OP will have to make it clear so we can really help out.

True, but many people use tickets and days sort of interchangeably (not correctly, but most of us don't know 1% of what you know about ticketing :rotfl2:). The OP is going to WDW in a couple of weeks, so I think she has two GAD vouchers that haven't been redeemed yet, and she and her DH have booked a package that includes 4-day MYW tickets for each of them. She did say a package with 4 day tickets, which wouldn't mean four individual one-day tickets since Disney doesn't do packages that way unless there are four people, which I suppose there could be.
