Ticket question

I just printed a set of 3 day tickets for our family's visit in July. The tickets I printed say to go directly to the turnstile and present the printout to the attendent.

My question is this: Will we get a set of normal, credit card sized tickets at the turnstile or do we have to carry these printouts with us for 3 days?

The sheets of paper are your tickets. However...you can go to Guest Services and exchange them for the regular tickets if you wish.

Thanks!

If I do exchange for regular tickets at Guest Services, would it make more sense to do this before first entering the park? I've never been to US, I'm assuming that Guest Services has a window out in front of the park somewhere.

Use your printout to get in the park. THEN go to GS.

The line outside the park for GS is usually longer than the inside line.

Also, don't go right away (unless you plan to get wet). Lines are usually longest earlier in the day.

Wait till dinnertime or on your way out.

Excellent, thanks Bubba's Mom!

The getting wet part was some of what I was concerned about, but snagging the tickets at GS later in the day sounds like great advice. I'll bring a second set of printouts to leave at the hotel to give us a little flexibility if we want it.

2nd printed set left at hotel is great idea! :thumbsup2

Just as a future bit of info to anyone else reading this thread, the kiosk option gives you the credit card sized tickets. You simply go to the kiosk, insert the credit card you purchased with, the ticket number and it spits out your tickets. The kiosk line is usually much smaller than the guest services line where you would go to exchange the print at home tickets for smaller ones.

AND.....

there is more than 1 kiosk and more than 1 window at each one
;)

When reading this, thats what I thought we did lat time when we went, and was going to ask If they took this option away?. This seem like such a great service I am glad Its still there.:goodvibes

So you can exchange print outs for real tickets at GS in the park? I'm actually very happy about this news since it means I can keep the tickets for scrapbooking :goodvibes:
Do you have to exchange it on your first day?

No. You can exchange them anytime you want.

The ticket is just more durable and waterproof than the paper printout.
