OK, go easy, I haven't done anything I'm just looking for information. I don't need 900 posts telling me how evil this would be.

I noticed if you purchase Universal on-line they give you free days. Are those extra days limited to the person who purchased the tickets? There are 13 people in our group. I was going to take my son for a day. Could my niece and nephew go on another day as long as it's within the 7 day period?

Just a question..go easy!

No they are not tranferable tickets. Once you enter the first day, they scan your fingerprint. You must scan it again each day you use the ticket.

they have made the tickets now, so they are for one persons use and one persons use only.

The atmosphere is a little less, um, intense here in the Uni board, so you won't get too many of the "you are evil" posts.

But Uni tickets are all non-transferrable and require signatures and IDs, so sharing days is not possible.

I sell tickets everyday. Let me tell you, Universal, along with Disney and SW have made it nearly impossible to transfer tickets from one person to another. It's just not worth the risk and the stress involved with it. I think that if Universal suspects anything or the finger scan doesn't match up at all then they will send you to Guest Services.

not to say they wont check at all but the whole 5 days we were there my finger scan never worked once. It kept saying invalid. They just kept telling me to go ahead. They also never checked my ID and I only had to put an initial on the back of the ticket (I guess so we wouldnt get tickets mixed up) I was never sent to customer service. Im assuming that because so many people were waiting in line to get in they didnt want to fool with it.

Sometimes, when it's busy they bypass the biometrics. They also skip it at Disney when the turnstiles are busy. I just wouldn't count on that happening though.

We had the $75/ day tickets last week. They tried doing the biometric scan on the people in line in front of us, then gave up. I don't know what type of ticket they had. They waved us on through too. From that time on, we entered at will w/o signing or using the finger scan. We were a bit surprised by it, but it was so much nicer than the TM/ CM refusing to give up & wasting our valuable park time standing at the gate. We've had this happen way too often with AP's @ WDW. :sad2:

At Disney, they let me on through with an expired AP. I had no idea it was expired until I had problems getting FastPass. (They had sent me a letter for renewal notice.. I sent a check to renew it but apparently they never received it and if they did I was supposed to have known to go to Vacation or Guest Services to pick up a new one. Yeah, not if you don't tell me, Disney.)

now that is cheap! If you want, I will save all of our scraps from dinner for your children, that will help you save money.......... GHETTO!
