ticket question

I am going to buy my tickets from one of the discount online ticket brokers. I am just getting a park hopper that expires to save $$. Now if I don't use all of the days then I know it will expire, but I was reading somewhere that I can always add the no experation later? My question is since I baught the ticket from a broker and not Disney, will they just add the no experation fee or will they charge me more for the ticket to match the gate price and then add the no experation fee? Does my question make since??

It is possilbe that you will have to pay more to match the gate price(difference between what the broker paid wholesale and the gate price) and then pay the non-expiration fee. I'm not sure which brokers are not affected but there are reports that guests purchasing tickets from AAA were affected.

Also, if the tickets you get are not real Magic Your Way tickets but instead are some kind of promotional ticket (many different kinds of these exist), adding features might not be possible.

Adding options is not considered upgrading. It will cost you whatever the fee is for the number of days of your ticket.

Just want to add that you will pay for the no experation based on how many days your ticket orginaly had and not the amout of days you have at the time of upgrade.
