Ticket Question

Ok guys, this may come across as a really stupid question but I'm asking anyway!

We've always stayed at a Disney resort and purchased a package. This year we have taken advantage of the Dolphin summer rate so I ordered my tickets from Disney. He said he would mail me a voucher for the tickets. What do I do with the voucher? ( I tried to ask him questions but he wasn't very helpful, he's the only CM I've ever talked to that I thought was kinda rude :sad1:) Will there be a place to redeem them at the Dophin? Also, will we get a card (like the room key/ticket card) like you get when you stay at a Disney resort. They are so convenient. I assume we will since the entrance is set up with the finger scanners etc.

I quess this was more than one question, wasn't it. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I don't think (but I could be wrong) you can retrieve will-call tickets at the Swalphin.

The voucher is just a paper with a barcode on it. You take it, and photo ID to either Guest Relations, or a ticket vending window and they'll get your tickets for you.

It can't hurt to try it at the Dolphin - but if it doesn't work, Guest Relations at the International Gateway is a short walk away.

Have a fantastic trip.

Thank you. Will we get one of the credit card type tickets with the ticket info coded into it. I'm wondering how the Early hours eligibility is recognized since we are staying at the Dolphin.

Even if your tickets aren't encoded on your room keycard, you can use the EMH, we did when we stayed at POR and we have AP's. All they wanted to see and scan was our room key to get the wrist bands.

Your tickets will be the mylar/paper variety.

Your tickets will NOT come on your room key since the Dolphin/Swan are not Disney operated hotels. Your ticket will be a paper ticket that is separate. You will need you Swan/Dolphin room key (1 for each person) to get the EMH wristbands. You also cannot charge purchases made inside the parks (or at DTD) to your room so you will need to carry a charge card/cash/debit card/whatever with you to the parks.

The location of the Swan/Dolphin is great and the rooms are nice. You will love it...but we missed some of the Disney theming...but at $129 per night, who can argue!

Thanks everyone. I wanted to have some idea of what to expect before I get there. You can tell how obsessed I am about planning all this. I've been planning for two months and we don't go until August! I'll be worn out before I get there but I think planning is half the fun.
