Ticket Question - Upgrading After Arrival

My sister (who is a travel agent) booked a trip for my DH and myself to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Since we are Florida residents, she got a discounted package for us to include room and 4-day park hopper tickets. However, we are staying for eight days and need tickets for the whole stay. She was only allowed to book the package with 4-day park hoppers. She called Disney and was told that we could upgrade our tickets to seasonal annual passes after we arrive. So here is my question:

If I add fast passes to our tickets before we leave home, will they follow when we upgrade to a seasonal annual pass? I don't want to have to do them over again when we are there. If they won't follow, can we use our 4-day tickets for the first four days of our trip and then upgrade to seasonal passes on the fourth day? It has been a long time since I planned a Disney trip and this bit confuses me somewhat. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1- Yes (the 4 days will.)

2- You can do that anyway, if you'd like.

On March 29th, I upgraded my family's 7 day base tickets to DVC annual passes. I was worried that my already planned FP+ reservations for the first 7 days of our trip would be lost when I upgraded.

Nothing changed after the upgrade - every single FP+ reservation was still there. We upgraded at the first of our vacation so that we could make the remaining days FP+ reservations before they were all gone
