Ticket question here now-please help

Ok, so I went to upgrade an unused 3 day hopper that is part of my 2017 free dining promo. The CM says that there's new tiers to pricing and I don't get face value, I get resort value, which is $279 as opposed to $371. Is this true? I asked for a manager and she said there's nothing more she can do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

When it's a Disney issued Ticket, they know the exact value of the ticket when it was attached to your package.

It can't be considered equivalent to the "face value" of a regular 3-day ticket if it were purchased before February 2017. I believe @Robo can explain it best and he may be stopping by here shortly.

Tickets purchased as part of a package still get bridged, but after the expiration date change earlier this year, you won't get the current gate price. Instead, you'll get value for the gate price from before the price increase.

So if I'm understanding you correctly I don't get 379 but I would get 367, which is what Robo has listed on his page as pre 2017 price increase. Any idea why they keep saying they can only give me 279??? Any tips on what exactly I should ask for? Just say I need a ticket price bridged to an AP?

Are you sure it's a hopper? Is it an adult or a child ticket?

Yes, it's a hopper and an adult ticket. I'm sure it's a hopper because you had to buy that for the free dining promo. Its a bounce back that we booked last sept. The CM just kept saying we'll the package you have had discounted tickets associated with it and that's all that I can give you for it. The computer is showing you paid 279. How is that even possible? I'm going to try again tomorrow any advice on what exactly to ask for?

When was your package purchased with these tickets? The hopper requirement was only added last year.

Try a different ticket booth. There's some sort of upgrade button they have to press to get the correct value for the tickets.

Deposit was done ~Sept. 6th, 2016, it definitely says adult 3 day hopper in MDE. Ok, I'll ask about the upgrade button. Thank you
