I was wondering if anyone had any good advice for me.

Our Universal AP (the bottom level one) expire soon. We might be going for the DISapalooza weekend in December. Does anyone know if it is cheaper to renew our AP or to buy 3 day park to park passes in December?

At this point, the renewal price of a Power Pass $135 the same as a 1 day ticket a preferred pass renewal is $160 and I've heard rumors of people being able to upgrade at the renewal rate. So at least right now, renewing would definitely be cheaper if you're sure you'll be visiting Universal in the next year. It should also be noted on Thursday's podcast they announced that tickets for DISapalooza were sold out.

Thanks for the tips! Sounds like we should renew. Well...the thing is, I bought tickets, I just have to convince the BF to go hahaha, shhh.

thanks for the after tax numbers. Mine were before tax I got off Universal's site.

i always try to include the tax numbers for the total cost as some people need to budget and need to know what they are facing on expenses.

When you get the mail/postcard/email (I get all three, others get nothing LOL), call the number and see IF they can do anything for you. I doubt if they can, but who knows?

The Power Pass renewal (that's what you mean by the bottom level?), assuming the blockout dates still work for your plans, is definitely a great price.

I'm sure others here will understand how, every time I see the title of this thread on the board, I get this stuck in my head:

"Q. Q is for Quan. Quan is for Quandary."
