Ticket purchase question

We have annual passes but I need to purchase 3 day tix for my dad. If I purchase from the app are they attached to my name? Or can he use the ticket? We will already be in the park when he arrives. Can he use it from my phone at the gate? Can I print out and hand it to him at the gate or would he need to change the ticket at the ticket window?

I had my son's ticket linked to my acct on the app and we had no trouble scanning the barcode at the turnstiles. They printed a ticket for him right there.
