I know this has probablly been asked before but I could not find the old post when I searced.
So here goes.

Where is the best place to purcase tickets in advance.

We are thinking of staying 9nights/10 days will need probably 9 days of park tickets will do MNSSHP hubby thinks he wants to go to park in Am back to hotel to rest then to party. first day will just do resort or DD. last day we will probally leave around 5-6pm so he thinks maybe do park in AM then fly out/

What tickets would you all recommend.

TIAprincess:

For 9 days of park admission, you would do the AP. And hopefully return for another trip within that 365 days.......

Cheapest APs are at CoD, about a $40 savings. But we may not be able to buy them there very soon, who knows. (Do you know any WDW CMs who could buy them for you?)

Good luck and have a nice trip!

Dumb newbie question. What is CoD? Why do you suspect they won't be available much longer? Thanks :D

I was just going to ask the same question?

I think PatMcDuck thought she was posting in the Cast Member forum.

CoD is the cast member store on property-- The "not being able to buy them anymore" she is referring to, is the fact that The Disney Store is in the process of being sold and Disney Store cast members may no longer be able to shop there.

I agree with the person who posted about purchasing AP's. For 9 days that is probably your best bet - I think the regular ap is the equivalent of an 8 day hopper. You didn't mention whether or not you would be doing any water parks, if so you would need a premium ap, and they are slightly more expensive.

Try checking out the ticket faq on Deb's site - allearsnet.com or checking mousesavers -- maybe even signing up for the (free) mousesavers newsletter. Ticketmania may have ap's - and if so you may be able to get a good rate through them. Otherwise, I believe the only place to get them is at the gate. You may be able to call and get them by phone-- If your trip (looking at your counter) is in almost 2 years.. you may be able to pay for an ap voucher now-- I don't know how long the vouchers are good for.. but you may be able to buy it at today's rate, and activate it when you go - and avoid the cost increases of the next 2 years. But, please don't take my word for it! Call and talk to someone in guest relations.

The Fun In the Sun pass is good for 30 days. It also includes admission to DQ and PI plus a voucher for a character breakfast. I purchased ours through www.orlandovacation.com. They are a reputable ticket broker and I got mine in less than a week from the time I ordered.

If you have access to military, that is the way to go. We just went to the local sub base & saved about $100 on 2 5-day passes.

I ordered Disney Quest tickets from ticketmania.com. Free shipping. tax included.
