Anyone know when/if ticket prices will go up? I have a trip planned for September 2017 and want to make sure our tickets are purchased prior to any increases. TIA!

Nobody knows.

There is no "set date" for ticket increases.

You may want to buy from an authorized ticket reseller, anyway, to save quite a bit of money.

and others have some "deals" right now.

Next September will be here sooner than you realize. If you have the means now, buy now. You will have the tix in hand and you can check it off your 'to do' list. What else are you going to do with the money, put it in savings at 0.001% interest? Then think of your savings as interest when an increase comes out at 5% or more.

If I were you, I would be snagging some of those tickets from Southwest Vacations now. They might not get more expensive, but I'm fairly sure they won't get any cheaper.

My DF is buying the tickets, not me. Just advising him on when to purchase. It will be his decision when to buy.

Does that southwest offer give you codes that you can use to add the tickets to your mde account and thus be able to book fastpass+? The site seems to suggest there are limits to usage dates and that you get a voucher to turn it for tickets upon arrival. If You can link them to your mde do you really even need to pick up the tickets?

Here's some info from allears.net http://allears.net/tix/tixincrease.htm

I would only use this as a guide but like Robo said no one really knows.

I know it's not your decision when to buy the tickets but I'm also going Sep 2017. I bought my tickets in Feb 2016 right after they announced the increase for Universal but I was able to buy from UT at the prices before the increase (got a 2 day park-to-park plus 3rd day free promotion). I also bought my tickets for WDW two days before they officially increased their prices. I knew, from being on the DIS, that the prices were going to raise any day so I talked it over with my family and we went ahead and bought them from UT. I had gotten a 4-day park hopper plus 5th day free promotion.

What is this Southwest deal of which you speak??? Oops, never mind, I found it.
