Ticket Prices Increasing June 12th!

We wanted to let you know that ticket prices are increasing at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. The new prices go into effect on June 12, but today we’re sharing an early look at pricing details as well as some existing special values for Florida and California residents.
At Walt Disney World Resort, the Magic Your Way ticket offers a variety of options for you to customize your ticket purchase and save on your visit. Florida residents can also take advantage of the monthly payment plan we launched last year to give them greater flexibility when they purchase an annual pass. All updated pricing is posted on the Blog and also will be added to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/tickets-passes/.
And at Disneyland Resort, details about ticket prices are posted on a special page we’ve created on the Disney Parks Blog. The information will also be available at http://disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets/ on June 12, including details about special summer values for Southern California and Northern Baja residents, as well as our Southern California resident pass, which is more popular than ever with the monthly payments option.

I thought pricing (current pre June 12 pricing) was:

3 day base ticket (age 10 and up)
$238.56

Park Hopper add:
$57.51

Did pricing go down? This link says:

Ouch though :-/ The PAP is up to $499 from this year's $459, and when I bought it two years ago it was only $429. If I were to downgrade to the Deluxe though, I'd add the parking which of course means it's just a few bucks cheaper to get the PAP in the end anyway. Better start saving for my renewal in November!

Wow that is ridiculous. It is actually cheaper for me to just to get brand new passes tomorrow than to wait until Sept to "renew" with the 20 dollar discount. ughhhhhhhhh.

I know, I was keeping my fingers crossed there was still a chance of the 5 for 3 promo resurfacing for the fall...but I don't know that I should chance it since it didn't happen for the summer.

I'm in the same boat, for my trip in September.

Although things are booked, nothing is guaranteed so I really don't want to have to buy the tickets this early.

I may wait and just get the Deluxe AP with the price increase instead of bothering to upgrade from a 3-day park hopper, but I wanted to do MM.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I buy my annual pass today I can save $40 and the first day I use it (7/8) will be the day that it goes active? I'm in college and a penny pincher so $40 is a tank of gas to me.

That is correct. You can buy it at todays price online, and get the physical pass on you first day going to the park 7/8, and it will be good for a year starting on 7/8.
