Ticket prices increased

Looks like they increased prices again this year. Does anyone else think its starting to get outrageous? For a family of 4 if I only want to do 2 days of parks, it will cost over $600 just for park tickets and doesn't even take into account food.

You're right it is expensive, but this is how they get us to stay 7 days instead of 2. Much better "value". I know I fall for it.:rotfl:

Last December, we did a pre-cruise visit to MK. Rather than get a single day ticket, I bought 10-day no expiry. (No park hopper though, I hate wasting time between parks when I've paid to be in a park)
The kids tickets I bought, again, are no expiry and my kids can use it even if they're over 20! Aside from our 3yr old who was 2 at the time, it's unlikely we'll be needing Disney tickets for a decade or more! (Ok, we don't go to Disney every year)

it happens every year in August... buy them before you need them!

I needed to go from a 6d to a 7d ticket and it cost me $9.57 to upgrade for 3 adults. I'd say that's value.:wizard:

A couple of quick questions for you all. A good friend of mine won a trip to Orlando and I'm pretty certain from what she won is was sponsored by Universal (hotel passes to many attractions except Disney etc.)

Anyhow it's her first time there with her girls 7 & 5 and she wants to surprise them on her last day and take them to the Magic Kingdom. I have unused non-expiring passes left from or last trip 2 years ago. Would they be able to use these for just one day and would I have a problem trying to use them again later?

Unfortuantely, all Walt Disney World Resort tickets are nontransferable and may only be used by the person who they were issued to with Ticket Tag.
