Ticket Prices Going Up Jan. 1st?

Anyone know if ticket prices be going up again Jan. 1st? - I know they usually do, but weren't prices increased twice in 2006? And if they are going up Jan. 1st, does anyone know by how much?

The ticket prices did go up at least once in 2006 (it happened the day we arrived at the parks, but I had my tickets already). I work at the Disney Store and so far we haven't been told about an increase...it doesn't mean that they won't go up, but as of right now, I've heard nothing. Hope that helps a bit!

I thought that the price increased tended to happen in the fall. At least this is what I remeber from working there.
I do not believe they follow any 'real' schedule on when to increase prices. The fact that they always seemed to happen in Sept-Oct maybe related to fiscal years and the need to increase sales and profits etc.

They went up twice in 2006, so maybe there will be no increase in January.

Here on the DIS, we typically are among the folks people to learn of an impending price increase, about two or three days prior to when it goes into effect.

If anyone hears - please let us know! We're holding off on buying them until hopefully after all the Christmas expenses, but would jump on them (since we're buying for 5 people) if we hear they're going up! Thanks!
