Just having a look at some ticket price quotes and the kids prices are for 3-9 yrs old

If kids are under 3 does that mean it is free for them, and do you need a passport to prove it

Thanks

if they are under 3 or in a pram they usaly take your word only if child is big (looks 4)do they ask for id

Yes they are free - I have heard that it is extremely rare to be asked to "prove" a child is under 3.

My daughter was never asked for her age and she is 23!!! - just kidding she was 2 and all was fine.

My son was always very tall for his age - and was never asked for id or a ticket. Even last year when he was 4 (but looked at least 6) - when he was in his pushchair the cm's almost seemed suprised that we had a ticket for him.

Having said that, I would never try it.. just my luck and they would ask. There were lots of times however when he was 3 and over that we had a ticket for him and didnt use it as it was hassle with all the bag checks etc... but we were NEVER asked for his ticket.

Also, just for your info.. if you have an under 3 yr old.. at the buffets and family style dinners, the under 3's eat for free!! That was a great saving!

Our youngest daughter turned 3 two weeks before we went on holiday and we DIDN'T get her park tickets (v. naughty and I'm sure I'll be told off by some DIS-ers now!). She was in a buggy and we never got asked to prove her age (just as well really!).

My daughter turns 3 on the 21st June and we arrive in Orlando on the 29th so we are literally 8 days too late. I am seriously tempted NOT to buy her a
ticket.Last year I bought an adult ticket for my just 10 year old daughter but I really don't think they would have queried it if I had bought her a child ticket but I was too scared not too. I would have went earlier so that we were there before her 3rd birthday as it would have been lovely to have her birthday while we were there and I know they say don't buy a ticket if they have their birthday while you are on holiday. However we cannot take the kids out of school early so this is the earliest we can go.

I know I will probably get her a ticket because I wouldn't like to be caught!!!
