Ticket prices at Disney Store

How are Disney World ticket prices at the Disney Store? I can't look them up online - it says they don't sell them at Disneystore.com, but I imagine that they do sell them in person. That being said, are they the same as getting them through the internet or at the park? (I am particularly interested in annual passes btw.)

The only place where you can get a discounted Annual Pass is some AAA offices, if you are a member. The cost for any WDW tickets is the same at The Disney Store, online, by phone, or at a Park or Resort at WDW.

There are some authorized resellers who will sell three to ten day tickets at a discount, but they do not do one or two day tickets, after-hours parties, or annual passes.

I bought my AP last June in the Disney Store. It is a voucher and you exchange it at the park for the actual ticket and that is when the date starts.

I saved money instead of buying it in the park b/c the price went up on the first Sunday in August, which it has done every year since about 2006.

I called our closest Disney Store, and they quoted me $520.79 for on regular adult annual pass. This is the same rate posted on mousesavers.com.

When I go through Disney directly, however (by starting at www.waltdisneyworld.com), it says $489.00 for the same thing.

Am I seeing something wrong, or is there some internet discount or something? I thought the prices were supposed to be the same -did I miss something?

Thanks!

I am wondering if it is a sales tax issue.

The price the Disney store gave me was the exact same price that mousesavers.com says it will be with Florida tax. Will I get dinged with Ohio sales tax on top of it?

Is there a shipping/handling/delivery fee for tickets bought online?

I'd like to buy tickets now to use next year before the price goes up, but if I have to pay S&H, I might as well just get them at the resort/park next year, right?

I believe Mousesavers as free shipping. AAA, if there is an office near you, you can just pick them up.

$489.00 plus 6.5% Sales Tax of $31.79 = $520.79.

All Disney published prices are without the Sales Tax. And, as the passes can be used in Florida only, the Florida + Orange County Sales Tax is added, no matter where purchased.

Makes sense - I want to be sure not to have to pay sales tax twice (once for Florida, once for Ohio.) That sounds right, right?

No you pay FL tax on tickets no ohio taxes :)

Do you know what kind of discount AAA offers for the Annual pass?

Looking at the AAA South online pricing, it appears the discount is about 3.5%.
