Ticket Price Increases?

I know that Disney typically increases their park ticket prices in February, but does anyone know which part of February? Is it Feb 1? The end of February? I want to nab our tickets before the increase and want to try to figure out how much time I have before the prices go up. TIA

Ugh just purchased my AP’s nice Dvc discount this year.
I need to buy 4 other 6 day fully loaded tickets, for my DD sweet 16 trip.
I see I need to get on the go and buy before increase!!!
Is undercover tourist still a safe place to buy tickets with being able to link to MDE account.

If it helps at all, the current Canadian Resident ticket promo expires February 10. So sometime shortly thereafter seems likely.

Last time, about 5%.

Oh uh. I need a one-day ticket to use this December. I was going to wait until closer to time to buy, but this thread has me thinking I should go ahead. I plan to buy through Disney with free Disney GCs, but when I go online, I see I can't purchase tickets for December. The calendar stops at the end of September.

MagicYourWay tickets are not sold "for" a certain date.

How it works is there are higher and lower prices for single-day tickets, but they are sold by "Season" ("Peak" for "busy" times "Regular" for well, "normal" attendance times and"Value" for the "less busy" times) and by which park or parks you want to visit on that one day.

Buying "ahead" can be chancy.

Could I go ahead and buy a ticket for a "Regular" season, and then if I find out it's actually "Peak," upgrade it? Can that be done over the phone? I just don't want to mess up by ability to book FPs when the time comes.

Well, the broader situation is that, by far, MOST guests don't just buy a one-day ticket, so what we're discussing is not a factor.

True. I guess I'm thinking about the expiration dates on all the tickets. People can no longer buy a bunch of tickets in advance to save costs. Do you know when the rest of the year is typically released?

Disney has become inconsistent with posting anything.

I'm hoping someone can help...if I purchase a third party park hopper ticket (either from parksavers or undercover tourist), will I be able to upgrade these tickets to the Park Hopper Plus when we are at Disney? Would it be the straight $15 per ticket, or will it be a different amount, since these are discounted tickets? Thanks in advance for you advice!
