Ticket Price Increases!

I was in DS yesterday & bought a 5 day w/DC card for $219. We still have 3 tickets to buy by Feb. I wish the CM told me about the change - I might have bought the rest of them. I was on FOT's web site & their ticket prices look good but I can't tell if the price includes FL Sales Tax. Does anyone know? 5-day quoted at $216.00 - pgjam

Keep in mind that as of January, VISA will be the new 'official' card of WDW.
There will be no more 'White Gloves' program, no more 15% discount with WDW resort room key and AMEX card.
Make your purchases this year!!

I believe that FOT hoppers DO include the taxes. All you need to do is add the shipping charge if you choose to have them mailed to you.

I rechecked Fla Orlando prices today and they've raised them "in response to Disney prices" Now their prices are much closer to the pre-pay amounts (incl. Fla tax) if you buy early at DS. Oh well...

I think hoppers are still available, but DC discounts on 4 and 5 day hoppers are not.

If you have AAA, ask your local office what they are offering for Disney tickets to their members. I had intended to purchase my 4 day park hoppers at the gate with DC discount for a 9/22 visit. Since that savings was out for me with the ticket increase announcement, I went today to my AAA office (different offices offer different savings) and sure enough, they still have 4 day park hoppers for adults $195 total. I think they purchase ahead and would have the old prices available until they sell out. The savings was about the same as using the DC at Disney. Now we just have to keep track of them as we travel.

Be sure to make several photo copies of the fronts and especiallly the backs of your ticket media in case of loss. With this in hand WDW can issue new tickets and cancel the old tickets. So, your trip will still be a blast!!

It looks like www.disneyareainfo.com has not raised their prices yet. They are the web-site for Paramount International Travel - I have a tracking number for my tickets to arrive tomorrow, yippee!
