Ticket Price Increases

Thanks! I couldn't tell from the website if they were going to continue the 5 for 3, so I just bought my tickets and MIGHT have saved almost $200!!!

BTW, my ticket confirmation came through right away, but my tickets went to spam--in case anyone else has what seems like a long delay on getting their etickets.

So happy that we bought our APs last week- Deluxe had the largest increase at $30 each. Would not have wanted to spend $60 more!

I'm just shocked that they increased the Annual Passes again! :scared1:Considering they raised the price on them within the last year 2X. I'm glad I got mine in June but who knows if I can afford it next year. :confused3 Now Im dreading my son's 16th bday celebration in Oct because I have to get his friends tickets but I cant get them before the increase. :sad1:

Probably hoping that you want to do DL and WoC in the same day.

Looks like parking went up a dollar to $15 now.

ehh it doesn't matter to me. but i feel bad for the general public and the vacation guests... what disney wants is everyone to buy a AP, i just assuming!

Holy mac! $30 is no joke! We're current DAP holders, and that hurts my feelings a little bit. Hope we can afford it when upgrade time comes next year! For that price, parking should be included with the DAP's too.

Any idea if the parking addition to APs went up too?

This sucks, ever since Robert Iger took over his strategy to make more money is raising ticket prices, it seems like in the last 5 or so years the prices have gone up every 6 months, that is bull$...!

Al Lutz doesn't run Disney, he is a journalist.

Yup - $99 instead of $79.

On the bright side…premium AP holders, we get that $20 dollar discount when we renew before out cut off date…. so that is kinda nice..

For all you DVC members, with the new prices, the Premier AP to both WDW and DL is now cheaper than a DL DAP plus a WDW AP with the DVC discounts. $309 + $425= $734 vs $723 for the Premier. -- Suzanne

So the Premier did not go up?

If they keep this up,they're going to price us poor 'occasional' schumks right out of the market. :sad2: Now I know $4.00 don't sound like much, but multiply that time 4-6 people add in gas price increases and it's nickle and dimeing some to stay away. :sad1:

Thanks for the heads up, guys. I just renewed my premium pass online. $419! Ouch! I could have sworn it was *just* under $400 when I bought it last Sept. Still beats the, what is it again?, $459??? it is going to be tomorrow. :scared1:

By my calculations, it's going to cost us around $100 more for my DH and my 2 DS for their 5 day hopper passes for when we go down to the mouse in Feb. It's going to cost me an extra $20 for my Premium AP I intend to buy for my solo Oct trip. These will be the last family trips we take for quite some time as we are very tight financially, and at the rate they are raising their admission rates, by the time we head back in 4 or 5 years time, it may be cheaper to go to WDW than DL.

So the Premier did not go up?

On the Disney Blog on the Tickets, it said from Thomas Smith, they will not increase the price for the Premier when all the parks tickets and APs go up until Tomorrow. I would assume that the price of the Premier will still be $700 when the new prices becomes affected tomorrow. If this is true it is good for me when I go to DL next week or October and upgrade my premium pass to the premier before I go to WDW in December.
