wondering when historically ticket prices have gone up. It was implied August.

I ask because we have an AP and wondering if I should wait until we get there and buy the rest of the tickets or just buy them now without the discount. (AP not activated yet)

have not read about increases in price tickets for this summer

don't usually see that happening twice in a year.

Thank you that's what I thought too. But the reservationest that I spoke to yesterday said they did last year in August.
I bought one AP and she mentioned to wait until we got there to buy our other tickets. I'm a bit confused because on the website it says buying ahead is cheaper but I don't know how much? We will save 15% with the AP if we wait.

Which AP did you buy, the preferred or premier?

Power pass does not allow food/merch discounts

We bought whatever one has no blackout dates. I think it's the 2 park preferred. Whatever that means.

I have the preferred also

The AP chart on the UO website lists benefits

10% discounts off food and merch
Most carts not included in that

Once your AP is activated , you can buy tickets and get discounts based on your AP
Wait til then

If you don't activate your AP until you are in the park, buy from the gate then
(When you are at the park)

Can we activate the AP anyplace other than the gate? It was suggested that my daughter go through and then heads to guest services to buy our tickets while we wait outside. As an ocd rope drop kind of person, that is stressing me out.

Has to be done at the gates. Activation is first use.

Remember that the AP discount is off of gate prices which are $20 higher than online prices. Compare prices at undercovertourist.com since their prices are very comparable and sometimes even lower than the AP discount prices.
