TICKET PRICE INCREASE - Here It Is

Are kid and adult annual passes really going to cost the same? Good grief, that's a lot of dough!

All in all not as bad as I feared. Only looked at the base tickets (since we usually don't get hoppers.) The one day price didn't go up much and it seems like the extra day cost for tickets 5+ days is now $10/day/pp.

No one likes a price increase, but it's pretty on par with past years and what other parks are doing...

I'm curious to see the 2013 resort rack rates. When do those typically come out?

Wow, hadn't noticed that. That's going to anger some people. Though I guess it closes the "buy the kid an AP to get the AP perks for the family" loophole.

Since the tickets prices were announced, does that mean the packages for 2013 will be released too?

I see extra days after 5 days are now $10/day - need to get that stuck in my head - and I just got used to saying $8 instead of the old $5!

That is curious about the same prices for adult & child APs though.

Good thing I told my mom that we would need to book no later than May to avoid the ticket increase in June :thumbsup2

This isn't as bad as I expected on the multi-day passes and what I expect on the one day passes. I wonder how much longer until we see the 2013 prices for hotels. That is probably where the increases could occur.

So, instead of $110 to add PH and WPF&M ($55 + $55), it is now only $79 to add both?

The prices in his link...are those without tax? I can't believe the price of anything would go down, lol.

And YUP, they closed the "Buy one kid AP" loophole!

Crud, a $20 increase for FL Resident 4-Day Tickets. At this rate, it appears that by the end of the decade, one day at Disney will cost over $100. Uh oh!

The good news is that it appears that the resort prices seem to have stayed the same.

ETA: What exactly is this child AP loophole? I've never heard of it?

Yes, but it's really a shame for families who try to go twice in one year. Oh well. I think we are going to start an on/off yearly system.

Thank god I bought my FL Resident AP's last month ... saved myself about $300! Wheeeew ... now I just have to wait and see what the cost is to renew!

They have price ranges for the hotels at the bottom of the page. Time to number crunch!

Any idea if the price of the premier pass (good at both WDW & DL) will go up again? It went up $100 when DL ticket prices went up about 2 weeks ago. It has always been same for adult and child.

Im so glad I bought myself an AP last week! Saved myself some money!
