The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that park admission tickets will be going up on Sunday August 2nd as has been rumored here. As I'm not allowed to post a link, please go to Mousesavers for the link. It looks like the increase won't be as much as in recent years but may still be worth buying tommorrow!

I believe i read that the increase to DVC annual passes will be $20.00. Noticed it here on the disboards, front page under Ticket Increase.

That doesn't seem like a huge increase until I have to buy 4 of them!

Heck, saving $20 will pay for a lunch for the 2 of us or 2 adult beverages. Rather it be in my pocket than Disney's. I renewed this morning even though my AP doesn't expire until October.

We are a family which would need 3 adult, 1 child tickets (DH, me, DD12, DS3). Our next trip is set for June 2010 for a week. We only plan to visit the parks 4 days. We will not be back to WDW again within the year following that visit. Therefore, after running numbers the AP is not a good deal for us, even with the DVC discount. On the other hand, I am planning on purchasing 10 day non expiry, non hopper tickets (we rarely park hop) through undercover tourist. I guess I better buy them today? Will there prices change tomorrow as well?

I love disboards. After hearing about the rumored increase, we decided to buy APs earlier this week. We order APs for our Dec 2009 + Oct 2010 trip, and saved $20 each. :woohoo:
Combined with the $100 DVC savings, super airfares, Southwest no luggage charge, and finally having direct flights from Wisconsin, we're doing the happy dance.

Yes, UT prices go up. I did read on mousesavers that they sell at the old price until the run out so there is always the chance that you could still get the old price if you ordered in the next few days.

we bought our passes today too for January and December 2010!!! one less thing I will have to buy later:thumbsup2
