Ticket pick-up: better to do before first day?

We arrive on 12/30 this year with our first day in the parks on 12/31. We purchased tickets through AAA, so we have to pick up at Will Call. Given that our first day is 12/31 (or just generally), is it worth it to pick up tickets on our way from the airport so that we don't have to do it in the AM? How busy does the will call line get at different times? Our first park will be Animal Kingdom on 12/31. Thanks!

If you don’t have Magicbands linked to your MDE Profiles, you can stop by any Guest Relations or Ticket Booth to pick up your plastic tickets. On 12/31 the parks are expected to be busy so plan on 30 minutes or more to wait in line for tickets.

We probably will be sent magic bands for our 1 onsite day (12/2-12/3) ahead of time. Would you think that those would work to begin our park ticket usage on 12/31?

Your MBs provide the link to all tickets you have linked to your MDE account even years from now. :)

Don’t worry about going to Will Call - use those MagicBands to enter the park and FP lines.

Linking the AAA tickets to magicbands was very easy. Will call was not difficult for me at all. We got to TTC really early--like 715-730 for a 9 am opening--and it didn't feel like it took unreasonably long.
