Finding out the best price/discount for Universal seems to be nearly impossible to me. Can anybody help?

We are 4 adults and want to have admission to the parks for 3 (consecutive) days.

We have:
- Fan Club Card
- Entertainment book Orlando

Now it seems that Universal is not selling the 2 days/get 3rd day free tickets any more. Instead they are selling 5 consecutive days for 89.95 (normal price).

The Fanclub site is offering the same price for this ticket and is telling me that this is a USD 10,- discount which I really do not understand.

Entertainment book offers $7 for the 2day ticket and $10 for the 3 day ticket (which are not available).

So, what should I buy?? Help please!!

Why not buy the 5 day consecutive passes? They average out to less than the cost of two single day admissions. Of course, you must use all of the days within 5 days if activation, but you said you were planning on going three consecutive days, anyway. Sounds like your best option. Plus, if you purchase with a Mastercard you get a fifth ticket FREE with the purchase of four. I know you said there are only four of you, but hey, it's free! One of you will be all set for your next trip! You can check it out here:

MrsMud, I totally agree with you RE: the confusion!

I have studied several options/sites and still cannot decide what would be the best (Financially) ticket for me to purchase.

I have an annual pass myself. When I have tried to access the website for AP holders, I've received a message that the site is temporarily down. I even called USO and asked for assistance. They checked the link for me and said, 'Wow! You're right. I don't know why . . . try again in a few days . . . '

Anyway, I am visiting USO for an overnight at RP in mid-July. At this time, I really do not know if we'll be able to go to the parks for one or two days. Then, we'll be returning to Orlando and plan to visit USO over the Christmas/New Year's holidays. Again, I am not quite sure about the # of days we'll actually visit USO. (I'd guess just one since we are not staying on property.)

SO I already know that the tix that need to be used over consecutive days will not work for us. I think I may need to buy a three day, two park ticket (days never expire) but I do not even know if these are available anymore. I have four ot five other people to buy tix for.

Any suggestions anyone?

We were just at US/IOA (got home yesterday) there were banners all over the place that said "Ask about third day free" So I would think they would still be offering that ticket. Maybe just at the gate??

The 3 day/2 park ticket has been yanked. The "3rd day free" is still available, but you must upgrade before you leave the park (either on the 1st or 2nd day) and all 3 days must be used within a one week period.

We are going in Sept. and plan to get our tickets through AAA. Do they have the third day free ticket available, or do you have to get them at the gate? We are buying 2day/2park tickets for $88... would we have to do anything to them (upgrade?) to get the third day free at the gate?

I would contact AAA and ask. It could be either way.
