I am planning an upcoming trip for June 8th with a group of 10 people (which includes myself). My dad and mom have annual passes which have already been linked to the My Disney Experience app. My sister and my niece added four day hoppers with no problem. My boyfriend, my three kids, and I linked our four day hoppers last night with no problem. The problem is... my cousin is also going on the trip (the tenth person). Months ago, my dad purchased her ticket and linked it. Last night I was playing around on the app and even though I can't select my fast passes yet, I went into the selection screen and I got a prompt saying that my cousin didn't have linked tickets yet and to either remove her from the party or buy/link tickets for her in order to proceed. It showed all the rest of us havin tickets. I called my dad and shared the info with him. He said that when he looks on the app it says my cousin has a four day hopper. Do you think this is a glitch or does anyone know how to fix it? I plan on going over to my parents' house today and physically taking the ticket for my cousin and trying to link it on my app (if that will be possible). If my dad already did do that (as he says he did) then I should be able to use the same ticket as it's already attatched to my cousin, correct? My last resort would be to call Disney and talk to someone. I want to iron this out before my 60 day windo for making fast pass selections gets here (which is next week)!!! :)

It is more than likely a glitch, but you can always call Disney to ensure that they're seeing her linked ticket on their end for peace of mind.

But I can't make fast passes for her unless we get the linked ticket issue resolved. UGH! I guess I'll try to link the ticket again and then just call. I've gone several times and used the app. This is the first time I've experienced this. :(

Understood, I've had it happen before when we renew our AP. When you try to link your cousin's ticket later tonight, you'll get a message stating that it's already linked if, in fact, it is.

had this issue with a trip.....I was trying to practice making fast passes and one person out of 17 showed no ticket, tried to link it and it said it was already linked....she didn't have her own MDE account but was listed in her Moms. I had to call Disney to fix...needed to give the email address and physical address of the MDE account she was under and they were able to fix it

Who "owns" this person? As in, who put them in their MDE account first? Do you both have all the proper sharing of info selected for her?

I would tell you that it is just an issue of making sure that you have sharing privileges with whatever account your cousin is listed under but I have been having a similarly weird problem with a quick one night trip and my son. He has his own account (but he's 13), but we have share between accounts (I think that's what it's called). He shows up on my account and I can add him to ADRs but for some reason the system is not allowing his to be either included or later added to a room reservation on my end. I tried everything and made sure his information on both accounts was exactly the same. The system just totally freezes up after I choose him as the third person in our party. I called guest services and they were able to add him on their end and now he appears under our reservation. It was very odd, I've never had that problem before.

And this why I have strictly forbidden DH from making his own MDE account. It cause SOOOOOO many problems, when it shouldn't

LOL!! I sent my husband a request within MDE to create and share an account with me in 2014 - he never responded, he isn't into planning our WDW trips at all! But the request is still showing up as "pending" in my MDE account!

DW has her own MDE account, and our APs are up for renewal. Although I'm not renewing, I checked the website, and only my ticket displays in the list. I guess we would have to use her account to renew her AP.

Update: I went to my parents' house Friday and tried to "link" the ticket for my cousin using my phone in my account. As I predicted and as others stated in this thread, I was given the message "This ticket is already linked to a guest." So I resorted to calling Disney. Once I explained the situation all I needed to do was give the email of the person who entered my cousin in the system (my sister who also has an account and who my cousin is sharing a hotel room with). I also needed to give my sister's mailing address. Once I did that, Disney was able to add my cousin to my capabilities. It was a glitch. Even though she had been added to my "friends and family" list ... I wasn't able to make plans for her until I did this. I'm pretty tech savy and very "schooled" in Disney as I've been going to there every year or every other year since I was a kid (now I'm 43). I can't help but wonder about people who are newbies to Disney who are not so tech savy. UGH! Needless to say... I'm set to make my Fastpasses this Saturday! Yippie!
