Ticket Media Question/Finger Scanning?

We have some left-over two-day/two-park tickets from a few years ago. We're honestly not sure as to who's tickets they were in our family (Mom? Dad?). We're going to have to buy more tickets in order for our large group to go this year. However, we're trying to remember if there were finger scans at Universal. Will it be a problem if Mom uses Dad's ticket?

We're not trying to be sneaky here (I know that this is a heated topic on the WDW boards). We're all heading into the parks, we just wanted to know if we should be prepared for any issues when we get up to the front gate.

Thanks.

They just recently started the finger scan and since your tickets are a few years old, there won't be a finger scan associated with them. Use them and enjoy! No flaming here.

IF the tickets do not have a bar code on the back, then you will have to go to Guest Services to have them re-issued! After this they will be finger scanned and they will have to sign the back of the tix!

Turns out the Tix I bought in 2001 don't expire even after they have been activated! :thumbsup2 We now can go back our next trip down to FLA!

If the tickets do have a barcode, you won't have to do anything. Just go through the gates with them with no fingerscan.
