Ticket? Magic Bands? Help!

My daughter invited me to go on a Girl's Only trip to WDW in December. We will be staying off site. I haven't been to WDW since 2002 and am not up to speed on the magic band stuff.

I figure that we will be purchasing at least 4 day park hoppers. How will it work? Should we wait until we're there to purchase them?

Currently Magic Bands are for on site guests and testing with some annual pass holders. I would recommend checking out deals on Undercover Tourist, Dreams Unlimited, and AAA and comparing those to gate prices and pick the best deal. You will be able to get fastpass+ passes each day upon park entry. (3 per day, only one park) They hace kiosk set up and castmembers there to help.

December is a long way away and things are changing rapidly. The rules for offsite guests could very well change by then. Check back in a few months to catch any updates.
