Ticket kiosk

There's one in each of the onsite hotels. HRH is in the main lobby if its still where I remember. Its opposite the main checkin counter.. I think.

Do you have to buy your tickets in advance to use the ticket kiosk or can you actually purchase them at the kiosk?

They are will-call kiosks, so you have to have purchased your tickets online first. You then swipe your credit card in the machine, enter your code and it will dispense the tickets.

thanks for your help, I have to purchase my wife a 3 day ticket so I think I will buy my ap on line and get there and take my ap to the park and get the ap discount when purchasing a multi day ticket

Just remember that if you buy your AP online, you don't get the discount on the other tickets until your AP is activated. That means, you must go through the gates and then come back out and purchase the tickets.

If you purchase everything at the gates at the same time, you will get the discount without having to activate your AP by going through the gates.

Thanks again, I will just wait until we get to the park and buy ap and other tickets

Is it possible to purchase the tickets to the park at the hotel? Can you only use the kiosk and have pre-paid for them? I have the hotel booked but not sure which way to go for the tickets that would be most convenient and of course cheapest.

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the activities desk but you can't get the discount. You will be paying gate prices.

If you want the online discount, you need to purchase online and then use the kiosk for pick up.

I'm only purchasing one day base tickets. Are there discounts for that? I thought only the multi park or multi day tickets had discounts. Thanks for the info!:thumbsup2

You are correct.

Remember that by staying onsite, you get two full days of early entry and two full days of unlimited express.

Thanks so much damo. We tossed around doing 2 days at Universal but the family vote was for only one. They really just want to visit the Hogwarts section., and who could blame them? It looks cool!;)

Does any one know if that is true for FL tickets? I would love to have them before getting to the park.

If you change your mind, you can upgrade your tickets. There are lots of amazing rides there!

Florida resident tickets have to be picked up at the gate, ID required.:thumbsup2

Thank you! That is what I thought because I had called Universal with a few questions and that was one of them. When I booked the person told me I could get them at the hotel. I am staying at a partner hotel. I thought I had to show ID somewhere.
