Ticket Hoarder? You Decide.

I have Park Hopper Plus tickets that are old... Very old!! They have 3 Water Park ticket options and 2 Theme Park ticket options remaining.

It is my understanding, that I have to use ALL of the Waterpark options before using the LAST DAY of the Theme Park option or the Waterpark is Void.
Is this correct?

I have had these for a long time and just couldn't bear to use them. We always book packages and it seems that most of the packages are for 5-7 days and we don't have that much time (or money) this year.

I don't think that is true
We also have 4 tickets from many years ago before we were annual passholders. We just checked them at our most recent visit
We were told three of the tickets have just plusses on them, but no park days left; so that would lead me to believe that the plusses are still good even though no parks are available

We bought a set of non-expiring park hopper tickets years ago and used all of the park days off of them, but didn't use all the "plusses". We took these tickets back years later, and each used one of our leftover plusses for a day at a water park. At that time, I made notes of how many plusses were left on each ticket, so we'll know for our next trip.
