ticket for xmas party

We bought ours for last year on May 7th. I think they go on sale around May 1st.

Thanks so much, do you know if they sell out really fast? Do they post that they are on sale on the disney web site? We are going the week after Thanksgiving & I would love to see this.

From what I have heard the fridays always sell out, and it seems to get much busier on the days closer to Christmas. We went on a thursday and it was way to busy for us. Not worth it in our opinion. The shows were nice but besides that nothing exciting. The shows get very busy and the earlier parade was mobbed. Only thing we enjoyed was riding Splash 3 times in a row without getting off during the 2nd parade. Would never spend the extra money again, but can say we are glad we tried it once, I guess.

Yes they post when the tickets will be going on sale and the people here are all over it so believe me you'll know!!

We will be at WDW November 26th-December 7th for our 3rd trip. We cant wait!!!! :bounce:

HAVE FUN!!!

mom to 2 - I noticed that you are from Wisconsin. So am I. Can I ask from where in Wisconsin? I live about 20 mile northeast of Green Bay.

Have a good time at Disney. We are going 12-19 to 12-26 and can't wait. 2nd trip to disney - 1st at christmas.

In 2004 they went on sale May 1st. Last year April 30th. They don't sell out for a couple of months. If you want them the first week they go on sale you will have to call and order them. I remember the last couple of years they didn't show up for sale on the website for a good 2 weeks.

thanks so much for the info. I was wondering if it was going to be worth a hoot. I think we will at least try it once. I do enjoy getting on the rides with no wait. Was it very cold last year at that time? I have been the end of Dec & it was pretty cool.

Weather in December is all over the place. I remember one year I wore pants and a sweatshirt and the hot cocoa was great to have. Then the next year it was almost too warm for the hot cocoa.

That is funny. I was there in Jan & 1/2 my trip was spent in short & tank tops & the rest was sweat suits. Guess it is alway unpredictable.

Usually Friday nights sell out first but not until the fall. Remember that they are non-refundable, so don't buy early unless you are 100% sure. Weeknights usually don't sell out, especially early in the month.

I called a few days ago to make reservations for the Hoop De Doo Revue and asked about Mickey's Christmas party, as we are also going during that time. The lady I talked with told me that you can make reservations for the party 180 days in advance, the same as the other dinner reservations. That is also about the same time they will announce the dates of the party, as it isn't held every day. That is what I was told by the Disney reservations operator. I hope it helps.

Do tickets include park admission? My ap will be expired and I am wondering if I have to use a day on my ph?

No, tickets are not included, you have to pay extra.

I think we may go on our arrival day. We're visiting family in Lakeland so that will give the kids a little time to nap quick in the car and then we can go at night. I'm excited to go!

How is it on Sunday nights? That's when we plan on going...Dec 3rd so the 1st Sunday of December.

I thought MVMCP was a hard ticket event. That means that if you go just for the party you just need the MVMCP ticket. Iknow it was that way for the MNSSHP. Unless you are planning on spending the day at that same park before the party, you need only have the ticket to MVMCP.

It is a hard ticket event, but you can't get into the parks all day with your party ticket. Only during the party times can you get in. Unofficially for the past couple of years you have been able to get in after 4pm with just your party ticket, but you can't arrive at noon.

Not true, you can buy your tickets when they go on sale, even if it is before 180 days out. Whenever they go on sale, you can buy them.

Sorry if I have relayed bad information. :( To be on the safe side I would definitely make reservations as soon as the dates are announced. Again, sorry if this info was inaccurate. Maybe I misunderstood the Reservations lady. :confused3

Yes, that is what I said. Sorry if it didn't come out that way. You need to pay extra for the event. The event "gates" open at 4pm. So I was just going to pay for the MVMCP and go into the park after 4pm.
