Ticket fiasco. Need advice...

After you talk with the company you still have time to dispute it with your CC. Most customer disputes timeframes minimum timeframe is 120 days . But they need your dispute to be processed on that day with all supporting documents with dispute letter.

I hope you get this worked out. But the above is exactly why I rarely if ever buy through a third party. They will point fingers at each other when something goes wrong.
Nobody's pointing fingers at Disney yet. She hasn't even spoken with the seller. It's clearly the seller's problem to make right.

Who did you buy the tickets from?
Maybe some of us also bought from this company, and we might need to check our tickets to see if they are valid.
Was it Boardwalk Ticketing, or someone else?

You are 100% correct. But even if it's an honest mistake it still happened because of a third party being involved. It's definitely not the fault of the OP. This type of issue is probably more relavent in the cases of air fare, hotels, and car rentals.

Right now all we have is Disney pointing fingers at another company. That's it.

Any time I've read of issues with a third party the third party company has come through with flying colors and has solved the situation. (And in the cases I've read about, it's Disney that comes off poorly and in one case needed mass retraining on how to deal with third party tickets, because the cms apparently forgot who exactly sold the tickets to the company in the first place)

If you look at touring plans ticket finder it gives two agencies in the results. Only one has the hours the OP posted.

so sorry! I do hope you got some good news today. Mistakes happen and hopefully it is a simple fix. If not I suspect your credit card will be of assistance, as others said this is different than a fraudulent purchase

Looking to use third party vendor for first time. Waiting for an update like I'm waiting for the next episode after a TV cliffhanger. I hope this is just an error and all works out for you.

I'd very much like to know this. After years of using Under Cover Tourist successfully I found Boardwalk Ticketing and we'd save $40 or so each over UT. Seemed too good to be true and maybe it is.

I'm confident this will get worked out. Something strange happened that I am sure will be made right. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be so sure that it is the ticket reseller and not Disney messing something up in their system. Whatever happened, I don't think it was fraud.

This is what I'm thinking, too. Frankly, Disney's explanation makes no sense. If I recall correctly, even their own tickets become non-refundable once they're assigned to a person in MDE. I can't imagine that once a ticket is assigned to an individual, this could be anyone's fault but Disney's.

Out of the discount tickets sellers listed on TP, only Official Ticket Center and Maple Leaf offer 10-day park hoppers.

To be fair to Park Savers and especially Boardwalk Ticketing, they don't need to be mentioned when the OP has chosen not to post the Ticketing site.

If I were you, I'd have contacted my credit card company immediately. Stop wasting time with trying to get in touch with the ticket agency - heck once Chase gets involved the ticket agency may just figure out they are at fault!

Thank you!
And thank goodness I haven't bought from them!

Until the OP talks to them I would steer clear of being afraid of them. I do t doubt them at all. So from experience in these types of threads it's still disney that i doubt.

Plenty of threads scattered around the boards the last two weeks of people having weeks-long issues with MDE and their Disney-purchased tickets...

I agree! I don't even see Boardwalk Ticketing listed on TP site but several posters have named them. We used Boardwalk Ticketing with absolutely no problems, as did some other family members. Even upgraded the tickets to APs with no problems. Hate to see posters just throwing names of reputable businesses around like that.

I was wondering about that. We have physical tickets from a third party seller. We can potentially return for a refund only if we do not link them in MDE. Once linked they can not be returned.

Technically the 3rd party can ask Disney to make your ticket null and void even if you have the physical ticket. That is what actually happened here. Just like a TA can if they tell Disney you didn't pay so please cancel the ticket then it can happen. Not sure what the TAs have to provide to Disney to prove that but it protects Disney and the TAs from people booking but not paying.

I used Official Ticket Center last year, after using the price finder on the UT site, and had no problem with the transaction, everything went perfectly. Of course, that is no guarantee of future performance, but I was quite happy with the price, and the service.
